Design as a whole is getting in touch with the natural world to find inspiration on the style front. Paint colours are pulled from the woods and the desert to create breathable spaces that are easy to live within. Nature’s hues are always on trend but moving into 2022 I’m predicting an even greater leaning towards the earth tones.
Sage green is the browner version of the bright pops we have seen spring to life in the past few years. It's less playful but much easier to live with than emerald or even deep forest green. The calming influence of sage makes this an ideal choice for bedrooms and living areas. It also carries versatile qualities that allow it to blend easily into a variety of colour palettes so that it can be both somber and playful. Add a bit of spice by bringing in an earthy red.
