The 2018 Winter Olympics will be held in PyeongChang in South Korea starting February 8th, 2018. The games run until closing ceremonies on February 25th. In Ottawa the timing for the outdoor events coincides with Winterlude.
Ottawa’s outdoor winter festival kicks off on February 2nd at 7 p.m. with opening ceremonies held at Crystal Garden in Confederation Park. A variety of musical entertainment will get people dancing in the snow ready to celebrate the 40th annual Winterlude events.
