ORTO TRATTORIA

Celebrated Ottawa chef Rene Rodriguez has embarked on a new culinary adventure. After closing his popular restaurant Navarra, and a brief stint at Dish Catering, the chef who garnered fame as the winner of Top Chef Canada in 2014, is excited to return to the restaurant scene.

Orto Trattoria opened recently at 151 C Second Avenue bringing a taste of southern Italy to the Glebe. Orto, meaning “kitchen garden”, offers a progression of courses focusing on simple, tasty food with attention to fresh, seasonal ingredients. The restaurant is open for lunch Monday-Friday and every night for dinner.
