The installation has begun for Ottawa 2017’s Inspiration Village. The cultural exhibit takes over the parking strip on York St in the ByWard Market and will run from May 20th to September 4th.
The sea shipping containers that make up Inspiration Village arrived on site and were lifted into place with an enormous crane. Each container represents the cultural milieu of the Canadian provinces. The village will host a variety of culturally rich entertainment throughout the summer, making Ottawa’s ByWard Market an even greater tourist attraction.
