If you are on the hunt for quality custom furniture, made locally, look no further ...

WHO: Elevenfiftyfour Modern Living Space.

WHERE: 1154 Bank St., Ottawa.

WHAT: Showcasing well-made, contemporary furnishings created by local manufacturers who believe in sustainable and stylish furniture designed to suit everyday living.

Owners Patrick Hajas and James Flynn opened the doors to this Old Ottawa South storefront in November 2010 to address the need for quality custom furniture, made both locally and within North America. The Bank Street store showcases design options for dining tables, sofas, chairs, beds and buffets, and also offers local art, area rugs and some accessories.

BEHIND THE SCENES: The store's mandate is to represent manufacturers with a commitment to authentic designs that are produced with sustainability in mind. They work with companies such as Flynn Studio in Chelsea, Quebec. Orders are customized to the buyer's specifications and delivery can be expected within 4-8 weeks.
